I have pine straw and limbs on my roof. Does anyone blow off roofs?

Townhouse 1400 square feet 2 story house. Not too much roof.

Roof Cleaning would be your Search the List category to find a well-rated and reviewed vendor for this.

Be sure the one you choose has insurance - including Worker's Comp insurance unless exempt because the owner is doing the work - because this is a high risk job if the guy falls off the roof. Seems like a lot of hassle for a $50-100 job, but the liability potential is in the millions.

My recommendation - if you have any moss or lichen on the roof, have him sprinkle a container of Lilly Miller Moss Out all over the roof (or at least on shady/
dirty" side) to kill/prevent that. Do note that the runoff from the roof will kill vegetation within a couple of feet (for lawn grass) or within maybe 3-4 feet (ornamentals and others) of the downspout with that - it is not a "poison" - just zinc sulfate powder, but will kill vegatation that gets too much exposure to it from the runoff. Application typically lasts 2-4 years unless heavily shaded or a lot of debris dumps on and sits on the roof, or until gully-washer rainsotrm or hosing off of the roof. Available at box home improvement stores and Amazon and such - probably cheaper if you get it than pay him time to locate a source and get it. 1 canister covers typical 1000SF of roof per pound, comes in 4 and 6lb (and larger) containers at about $4/lb.

Also - be sure the scope includes blowing (or washing if doing that) out the gutters and downspouts - assuming they are not heavily gunked up with partly biodegraded material, which might call for a Gutter Cleaner instead (many of them also wash/blow off roofs before cleaning gutters).
