There's actually a lot of things you can do. First and foremost you should give them a rating on Angie's List. You will be able to give a detailed account of not only your experience with them but also the scope of work, pcictures, etc.

You can also give them reviews on google, yahoo and bing. Another great thing you can do is send them referrals. That is the greatest compliment.
Don't forget to like their facebook page and give them a retweet ot two.

I'm glad you like them and want to help them out. Advertising can be expensive. But in the end it's happy customers than make a business.

Give them a chance to fix the work as they said . I am a contractor also and in our business lines are not marked always right and 80% of all lines are not dug down to there right specs do to poor instalss. Cable lines -Phone etc we hit these with aerators every year these lines are to be 6-7 inch deep so be patient and yes if he does refuse then take action and report him to the county thats all you need to do.
