Question DetailsAsked on 9/22/2015

I need a refund for an Angie's List Big Deal that fell flat. They have the money, I have no work scheduled or done.

On Sept 13 I signed up for the Big Deal of $499 for 2 painters for a day. I specified 3 dates for the job to be done, but said that I could be flexible. On the 14th the money was transferred via paypal from my bank account to Penn State Painters. On the 16th I got an email from them stating that they needed to come out to do an estimate for the job. I responded immediately that I just wanted them for the Big Deal. I have since emailed them often, once to their site and the others through Angie's List. I haven't heard a peep from them. How do I get my money back?
I am concerned that Angie's List would offer a deal from a disreputable company.
