Buying it yourself - about $20-50 depending on for narrow metal post - up to $200-300 range for fluted 4-8 inch building column andonup from therefor fancy scrollwork or engraved/shadow cutout custom jobs. Installed by Handyman, Carpenter, or Wrought Iron specialty company (your Search the List categories) probably about $100-250 labor and incidental materials depending on which type of contrator you are using (Handyman cheapest, specialty highest) and if being bolted into wood or concrete.
