Question DetailsAsked on 4/5/2013

I need replacement windows for a pre-fab sunroom. The window company the builder used has gone out of business and I'm on my own with this problem.

I have a problem with the entry door in the room and was told I need to have piering work done. Room was built on a deck that was built to the builders specifications and approved by the county.

It sounds like you have 2 problems. First is the foundation and work needing done with the piers and the second is the windows which may be caused by the first problem. Call a general contractor to arrange the trades needed to repair this. He'll likely need an engineer to get involved if there are already major settling issues indicating the foudation was not done properly. Together they will make a plan of attack and the repairs to stabilize the structure can be done. Then he'll have one of his glass sub-contractors repair and replace the necessary windows.
