I'm not going to trash a national company on here without really good reason but I have had customer's who were pleased with their services and even more that were not pleased. Do you go to Wal-Mart and ask the clerk to cook the steak you are buying? No. Hiring a box store to do work on your home is kind of the same thing. They don't do the work. The person that signs you up likely doesn't even know the guys who will do the work and he will certainly never visit the job site. His job is in the store. The sub-contractors will go do the work on the store's behalf with little to no supervision. You might as well be placing an ad on Craigslist for window installers and taking your chances.

As stated in the last answer, get a few bids and compare apples to apples between them. Look online for ratings of both the installers and the windows themselves. Not all windows are the same. Far from it. Customer reviews can be a very helpful tool. Don't trust grades. They are often skewed in some way such as only taking into account reviews by members and not every review submitted.
