Question DetailsAsked on 8/22/2015

I am getting the roof replaced, but the roofer says they cannot find replacement materials for our patio office.

Patio office roof is metal over a thick foam material. Roofer says the top was needing to be replaced, we didn't do it after the storm two years ago, but they can't find a replacement roof now?

IF can't find replacement material (presume this is a manufactured sunroom or such), then I would say have them modify the roof framing to take regular insulated metal roofing - or if the foam is sheet rigid foam might just be able to remove the roofing itself and put standing seam metal roofing over it.
