Organization - Home and Garage would probably be the Search the List category to help sort through for what you want to keep. Note that category is going to bring up both people who do this sort of help, and also California Closets and garage shelving/cabinet type companies, so after going through for well-rated and reviewed companies look at the individual company profile or reviews to see which type they are.

Some Housecleaning individuals will also do this sort of work for their usual hourly rate, assuming normal household possessions, not heavy furniture or such that needs moving around to sort it out.

For the disposal - an Auction Services company would probably be best - almost always they will move the stuff from the locker to their facility to sell at their usual weekly or monthly auction, at typically a 25-50% share of the take depending on what your stuff is worth (higher % if the lot is not really worth much compared to their cost of moving and inventorying it). Don't expect an auction company to be willing to let you sort through the stuff as they are moving it out - the contract will be for the lot - everything in the locker (excepting stuff you have already sorted out and mark as not included BEFORE they look at it.

IF this is a case where you live out of town, you can give an auction company written authorization and include in the contract (with some such companies) that very limited personal possessions are to be held out and shipped to you at your cost - usually they will agree to set aside and drop off at a packaging and shipping store for shipment to you, cost deducted from your share of the proceeds. The normal type of "excluded from sale items" would be money, family photo albums, or photos in frames, correspondence or financial records, that sort of thing - things of no real sale value anyway. If you want to high-grade stuff from the locker, you will generally have to do that yourself first.

Here is a link to another very similar question with response which might help too - though largely duplicative of above since it was my response -
