Question DetailsAsked on 6/20/2012

I'm looking for a top pain management doctor in the Dayton Ohio area. There is no subcategory for pain management to choose.

My husband suffers from nummular dermatitis and has peripheral neuropathy. He was seeing a pain management doctor, in addition to his dermatologist, who has him on 280 mgs of Oxycontin a day. But this doctor is very removed from his patients, and his office and nursing staff are extremely rude, the office is dirty, and the staff refuses to return phone calls. The last straw was this doctor switching my husband from an extremely high dosage of one narcotic (Oxycontin) to an extremely high dosage of another narcotic (Nucynta), without giving any directions. He left messages about the problem multiple times, and it took a week to get a return call. He needs to leave this practice immediately.

Hey there, Carol,

Sorry to hear you and your husband are having issues with your current doctor. Of course, you can always check to see who the best health specialists are in your area, including docotors who specialize in pain managment.

I would also suggest leaving a review about your current care provider to help other health consumers at
