I want a walkable insulated aluminum skin roof on existing patio

The roof is approximately 12'x35' and I would like an insulated sandwich type foam and aluminum skin roof usually comes in panels 4" thick 8'x12' , is there a company that can tell me ballpark cost

Your Search the List category would be Roofing.

My recommendation - particularly for that big an area - go with a real roof, raised seam steel or whatever materials you want. My experience with aluminum skin panels is they are NOT walkable - unless you want impressions and creases in them that make it look like a herd of dinosaurs was there. I made the mistake of using them once, and never again - but I do hear occasionally from architects/builders who have used them recently and have the same observation. Not only do they have poor survivability (from walking but also from hail, strong winds, falling debris), in my experience, but also the insulation is wasted money on an open to the air patio, unless fully essentailly an air conditioned enclosed sunroom.
