I'm looking for someone to re-wire my condo for cable, will Angie's list have a person who can do this?

I live in an old condo and the cable system is old and fragmented, need someone with expertise to re cable.

No specific category that I can think of - Home Automation people can do it, as can Electricians and Stereo / Home Theater installers, but not knowing what provider you are going with they might not install the cable the provider wants to see - there are two different grades of coaxial cable each in two sizes that I know of, and several of internet-supplied and fiber optic cables, so I would talk to the provider first.

Also - if getting new cable service, the cable provider will commonly run the cable to as many sites as you are having translator boxes installed for free - typically 2 or 3, which might be all you need. They also charge relatively small amount to add additional room cable connections.

The downside - unless you have a good headroom in basement or crawlspace, generally they run it around the outside of the house, so you do have some slightly unsightly (especially on lighter colored houses) cable running around your house. Costs substantially more to bury it (except for the run from the cable connection at the street, which is generally buried unless you have overhead electric service, in which case usually run overhead.
