I woke up to water on the floor in front of dishwasher and water is dripping from the ceiling in the basement below

Just had a snow storm, pipes were blocked and temperature in house dipped down to 39°. Not sure how long it was like this, but cleared pipes right away and house warmed up. What couldn't happened with the dishwasher?

Look under the kitchen sink for a valve to shut off water going to the Dishwasher. Then call appliance repair company,to check it out. Also could need a plumber
