Ibhave a van ee system, dont know how work and imgetting carbon dioxide in utility room. Fan for gas doesnt seem to be working either

I have a van ee humidity system. May need to be maintenced. Installed new washer and dryer upatairs and detector is going off telling me there is carbon dioxide. I shut everything off for now and its not beeping anymore but what is the problem. I also have alot of condensation in the room too. Any feedback or a reccomendation would be great. Its my first home and im on my own and this is one i cant fix. Thank you.c

your vanee system is air exchanger not an air purifier. it has a good purpuse you should get it maintained by a dealer for sells them. if you get condensate in your laudery room you should install a venting fan just like the ones in the bathrooms. and then check your dryer it might be blowing the exhaust in that room.

Did you install a vent for the dryer hose? and Does it vent outside? If your dryer is venting inside the room it will cause the condensation. This can be a health concern as the high moisture levels and the lint from the dryer can cause conditions favorable for mold. If you are using a water filled lint trap, get rid of it and install a dryer vent to the outside. Don't vent it in the attic or crawlspace as this will cause other problems.
