Question DetailsAsked on 12/16/2019

If I havent received a copy of a contract am I legally still under contract

I had a friend who knew a roofer and they came to my house and had me sign something on their ipad I never received a email copy or a mailed copy of what I signed on the iPad when they first got there. They came two more time and failed to show up a few times after that. Now I got the insurance money for the roof they are calling and making demands and some threats to get the money as I told them with the holiday season here I'd have my deductible money with my income tax to have the money. I havent given them any money at all. They keep saying they are going to report me for insurance fraud but my insurance company says I have 2 years to get it fixed. I'm getting a little nervous as they are unpredictable and keep making demands. I would like to find another contractor to do the work
