Question DetailsAsked on 7/17/2020

Is $32,000 in labor too much for a bedroom addition using $15k in materials?

I feel the quote is rather high for a simple 22x24 bedroom with a basic vaulted ceiling and installation of a corner shower within an existing bathroom that's adjacent to the the proposed addition. I had always though that labor costs tended to be correlated with materials cost (i.e. $5k in materials was somewhere in $5k in labor). Is the price I've been quoted too much?
