Question DetailsAsked on 5/27/2020

Is the AC installer responsible for refrigerant leaks where copper pipes were soldered after 15 months?

Downstairs unit running and not cooling. I had someone look at it and had no refrigerant. He said it probably leaked out where pipes were soldered. The installer says his warranty on labor was for one year. Shouldn't he be responsible for fixing the problem?
