Question DetailsAsked on 2/10/2014

Is the Bradford White gas water heater a good choice? I have discovered that GE is not a good idea.

I am replacing a 10-year old Kenmore. The glass lining has broken. I was quoted $950 to install a 40 gallon Bradford White gas water heater. This seems excessive to me (I live in South Texas). But in researching the AO Smith, GE, Whirlpool & Rheem (some of which I gather are the same thing), I am left with the Bradford White. Which is the best one to get, and what is a reasonable price? Thank you.
