Is Fidelity Life a part of signing up for Optimum One Health Insurance?

I recently signed up for Optimum One Health Insurance. I found out that Fidelity Life is part of the insurance plan coverage. Is that true or not?

The companies are not "affiliated". Optimum One may include a life insurance benefit that is underwritten by Fidelity, however, we no longer sell their product, so I wouldn't know for sure anymore.

You should be aware that Optimum One isn't credible health insurance coverage, and you are liable to pay the ObamaCare tax penalty if that is your only source of health insurance coverage. Also, as you can see in their brochure, it's not a suitable replacement for major medical health insurance and it leaves you greatly exposed as there is no stop loss.

I would recommend speaking to a broker to see about getting a real health insurance plan, not only to be covered, but to also avoid the shared responsibility payment.
