Question DetailsAsked on 10/6/2015

Is it "normal" for a stamped concrete patio to have multiple surface cracks and flake off?

The concrete was poured, cured the next day, and within hours of the men leaving, the cracks started to appear. Also, large pieces of the stamped concrete have flaked off and the sealant is very uneven all over. The contractor says "everything will be fine once it cures." I don't know what that means....cracks aren't going to fix themselves. In addition, there are footprints and handprints all over and huge globs of concrete hanging off the side. Are these "normal" and how long should I give this guy to fix the issues (this is all after he began the job four months late and then took one month to complete once started). Should I sue or what other options do I have?
