Is there a way to replace 8 feet tall entry door? we tried home depot and lowes and they said no options are there?

we want to replace our entry door, single door. specifics 37.5"*97.5". but both lowes and home depot say no door options are available even for custom made special orders? Is there a way to replace 8 feet tall door? does any one do that? and if yes what is the cost involvement?

You did not say what material you are talking about - wood is easy, other materials a bit tougher. You need to talk to a door and window shop ( a real one, not a box store), may be standalone or part of a builders and millwork supply store. They can special order for your to exact dimensions, color, finish, etc.

Wood probably about $500-1000 if locally made depending on fanciness and if windowed, more like $1000-1200 if special ordered. Other materials probably closer to $1200-2000. Plus installation of probably about $250, assuming made to fit existing opening.
