Know a good handyman in Spring or Houston Texas?

Need someone to fix a closet door that fell off the track and an organizer that can help clean up our garage. Thanks to all and I look forward to hearing from anyone who can offer assistance in finding someone.

Hi btdawgh,

You can still check the List to try to find a handyman that might do this type of thing. I would recommend reading the company profiles and looking for a smaller company that might be flexible and willing to help with your particular needs. It doesn't hurt to call a couple (don't forget to tell them you found them on Angie's List) and explain your situation. If they can't or won't do the job, they may know someone else who will. Try checking under "Errands" and "Organization" as well. If you want, one of our Neighborhood Specialists would be happy to assist you in searching the List. Just give us a call or email us. Good Luck! And please let us know if there's anything we can do to help.

You sure do sound like a strong and caring lady!

Two thoughts or suggestions for you:

Call on a local high school. Many schools up here have groups of students that do volunteer work in the community. If you are fortunate enough to have something similar, your situation could be exactly the sort of help they are willing to lend.Boy Scouts. The Boy Scouts always have a young person looking for good deeds to perform. Again, your situation could present them with a great opportunity.

Both suggestions involve young people and are likely to not cost you anything beyond refreshments for the worker(s). I know you came here looking for someone you would pay - - - but look at your post: I think you've already paid.

Bless you.
