LG WM2016CM front land washer leaking water during wash cycle

Could be a seal, leaking hose, mis-set high level fill switch, leaking tub - a lot of things. Some makes, and LG's have a lot of compalints on the web about this, leak through the lint screen during full loads.

Leaking door seal probably by far the most common cause in front-loaders - which is why I would never have one - just makes no sense to me to intentionally build a washer where the water is up against a seal that is constantly compressed and decompressed (as the door is opened and closed).

Short of checking that the door /door seal does not have lint or thread or such stuck in it causing it to leak, not much a normal homeowner can do to fix it unless a dedicated DIY'er.
