Dollar for Dollar I believe both products are Equal in Quality .

My question would be , WHY are you comparing a 4 ton against a 5 ton ?

Why not compare a 4 ton York against a 4 ton Lenox ?

Is the 5 Lenox being quoted against a 4 ton YORK .

Size wise , the 5 ton will produce more cool air efficiency , providing you need a 5ton unit.

Typically , One would compare 4ton vs 4ton ,not 4ton against 5ton .

Is the pricing of the 5 ton better than the 4ton pricing ?

If so , and the service is equal , it sounds as though the 5 ton would be a better investment.

I would advise you to compare apples to apples , 4ton vs 4ton, prior to making a decision!

What reasons do the sellers give you for the difference in tonnage ?
