Looking to my HVAC System...York or Bryant or Other

I have two different quotes close in cost and they both appear to be good not sure if it even matters on the brand...but looking at at the following:

-Bryant 925TA66120E24 Furnace with a 11BNA048 Bryant AC 14 SEER
-York TM9X Furnace with a YCJD AC unit

My house is about 4000 SF including the finished basement.

Consumer Reports say that York's require repairs about twice as often as other brands. They say "AVOID YORK".

My sentiments also - avoid York and Goodman (and a few others), as I have never heard good things about them, and lots of complaints. Nopersonal exdperience as I wouldnot buy them, just based on word of mouth.

York in particular I have heard/read of far too many new installs with immediate control board and/or sensor failures, some still on-going after several complete control board replacements, and subsequent problems getting any kind of warranty service done once a particular unit gets a reputation as a lemon.
