My cd player is not working in Santa Fe NM

The cd is stuck in the slot and will not open - or play,

1) make sure all the way in (or tray is pushed all way in if tray type)


2) turn power to device off, then back on and try eject button if does not eject by itself


3) look for small hole next to player (read instructions) - some have an eject disk hole you put a straightened-out paper clip in to force eject it.


4) last resort if open-slot type and not prepared to pay $75+ to repair guy - if edge of disc is exposed, grab with needle nose pliers (with power off) and gently pull straight out - do not pull hard or can damage player. Likely to trash the disc.


For repair by a pro for likelyk $75-100 minimum - for auto car audio place or auto dealer, for non-auto I guess AL category to search under would be DVR or TV repair.
