Question DetailsAsked on 11/6/2019

My neighbor cut down trees on my property .

My neighbor, seeing an Amish man cutting down trees for a cabinet company (owned by Amish) ,asked him to cut a few trees for him . I came home and had to stop him explaining he was on my property but by then 2 large trees were cut down. The Amish man had no idea where the property lines were but was following orders by the trees marked by the neighbors. We asked to be compensated by the cabinet company and got paid for the trees but also charged for labor and hauling costs. Isn't the neighbors responsible for this? What should we do next to get this settled? We had the land re- surveyed to be sure we were correct.
