My son dropped my 50 inch Samsung Hdtv and broke the screen, how much is it to fix or should I just replace it?

I'm in Orlando, FL I purchased the TV black friday for $349, I just opened the box 3 weeks ago but geek squad didn't have an appointment til next week to set it up. My son was playing around and dropped it leaving a crack in the screen. Is it worth fixing? Is there someone that can quote me or should I just replace it.

Well - guess he is getting the big screen TV in his room after all, under the "You Broke It - You Bought it" rule.

Here are links to a recent couple of questions with answers addressing that - because the current price new is in the $400's ($440-499 depending on exact model) it is highly unlikely to be economic to repair it unless you bought an all-risks warranty with the purchase:

If you bought it at Best Buy talk to management - they may cut you a deal to bring a new comparable one at a discounted price if you are having Geek Squad install it, and will likely take the old broken one away at no extra charge.
