"Mystery" ceiling leak in1st floor bedroom which occurs only when it rains! Need some advice to identify source.

The ceiling leak has been occurring for at least 30 years. It ONLY occurs when it rains very hard and/or steadily for an extended period. It is always in the same location, 1st floor bedroom ceiling over window. There is only a 2nd floor bedroom above which does not leak. The home was built in the 1940s and is brick. Over the years, many attempts have been made to locate the source of the leak. Replacing the roof, gutter system and caulking all visible exterior cracks/openings in the brick and copper flashings were to no avail. The ceiling has been damaged and repaired numerous times only to leak again. Would appreciate any suggestions where to go with this. Thank you.

Unless you have visible missing or damaged siding, likely from a window - especially if basically near the location of a window on the floor above.
