Question DetailsAsked on 9/27/2020

Our attic fan keeps turning on and off. Breaker does not trip, but shows red on the switch.

Fan runs for a few seconds, then turns off -- sometimes just a split second before it turns back on. This happens more often when the outside temperature is lower. If it's very hot, both attic fans run consistently. Electricians have been over multiple times adjusting temp on thermostat, etc. Our solution has been to turn the breaker off for that fan when it behaves like that. Unfortunately, that also supplies electricity to part of our bedroom. We just noticed yesterday that the breaker has some red showing when we go to turn it off.
