Pain management doctors in Gainesville FL That will listen to the patient! False neg drug testing from SIMED

I have been going to the same pain doctor for years he has implanted a spinal cord stimulator and given me my pain meds now after all these years received a certified letter saying the meds he prescribed were not in my system according to a urine test. I need to take pain meds to do daily living and have now been told that I have not been taking them and will not prescribe any more! It is like a slap in the face and being told I am a liar....Has any one else gone through this with SIMED in Gainesville FL? They will not give me another test just told no recourse final even though the test had to be wrong I had taken my meds that morning!

Talk to your insurance carrier about getting a challenge to the test, and an independent lab test done.

If that does not work, file a complaint with the state medical licensing board about him not allowing another test.

I've had similar issues, but was not dropped, just treated like a second class citizen, because a urine test in 2015 showed THC, even though I don't smoke, vape or eat pot. I don't like it, and am actually opposed to it. But, I had been using legal CBD HEMP oil tincture for a few months before the first test, and tested high for THC on initial and retest at a better lab. This could so happen if you buy Hemp milk, now sold at Publix. I was quite upset as THC is a nothing thing, and CDC quidelines recommend not testing for THC, but now it's on my record forever at Simed. I reported the hemp oil mfgr to the FDA too. But, SIMED docs have strict arcane policies about it, even though you can now get medical MJ here with a $200 license. Worst of all, They will discount a patients explanation and consider you an illicit drug user, or if the drug prescribed is not in your urine test, they assume you are selling your meds on the black market!.

This aberrant test result, despite my challenge and explanation, has continued to haunt me for 28 months at Simed, even though I can prove I got contaminated CDB tincture. They don't care. I am treated like a heroin junkie. Other patients were tossed out with zero notice by certified mail, according to one review on Yelp. Unbelievable.

My only suggestion is to start over at a different. pain clinic. The SIMED group is very poorly managed, and it's clear they are indifferent, understaffed and incompetent. The treatment I did get was mediocre at best anyway.

Try the UF pain clinic and don't transfer your records, as your info is private and protected. Post back on how you are doing now.
