Porcelain Tile Repair :(

I just recently had my living room carpet ripped out and had a porcelain tile installed. the person who did this job for me left the grout on the tile too long and had to use something called "myradic acid" to remove the grout from the tile surface. when he did this it took almost all of the shine out of the tile and also caused major damage to the grout lines :( HELP I cannot afford to rip out the tile and start over. what are my options?
