Question DetailsAsked on 8/5/2013

Professional Organizer. I mean someone who will help me organize my home, not someone to sell me a closet system.

When I looked at your "professional organizers" I saw a gutter company, a company that sells boxes, and a couple of names without descriptions. That's not what I'm looking for.

I thought the Angie's List was Organizers - not Professional Organizers - try that.

You can also check out www.napo.org for local professional organizers.

If you receive a government or insurance company disability payment, check with that agency - you might, in some circumstances, be eligible for in-home help for cleaning, housework, organizing, etc their expense. Particularly if the surgery was due to service-connected or work-related injury or you are on Social Security disability.

A good individual cleaning person who you TRUST and is willing to spend a lot to time with you might be a good choice too - though you have to remember you are paying them for organizing and clearing out, not chatting.

Sometimes, if responsible, a neighbor's daughter might be a good choice, although you do get into the employee and liability issue.
