As an old tinman (siding salesman) let me suggest before picking installer, pick the product. Vinyl siding is not all created equal, Old fashioned vinyl is hollow backed and can have some problems over time. Laminated vinyl siding has the insulation molded to the product for a stronger & flatter laying product. (More $) Treatments around your windows ,corner posts and special soffit treatments abound. ( Special attention to not restricting ventilation of your attic in the soffit is a good idea) Knowledge is power, use your computer to research products like Crane, & Royal for other considerations , like fading if you want a dark product. Use Consumer Reports at local library, they have nice article on siding. Then use Angie's List to secure a reputable contractor if you are a member.

ps Most siding contractors sub out their gutter installation, you can divide your project and allow Gutter Contractors (? w/covers) to bid as well.
