Hello, I am looking to relocate the electric meter, weatherhead/mast, and main electrical panel from the right side of the house to the left side of the house. The reason is that the current electrical panel is inside a bedroom that will be used by a child. I would like to move it to the left side of the house where it will be safer and inside the garage. I know power company and electrician will need to be involved. How big and costly a project is this? For background, the ranch home is in Northern NJ, on a slab foundation with no basement. The distance from the right side of the home (where everything is currently located) to the left side of the home (where the garage is located) is about 60 feet. The electrical pole outside the home is (naturally) on the right side of the house. Thanks four your assistance.
