Question DetailsAsked on 1/11/2020

Remolded Carport into a bedroom, carpet becomes wet along one wall when it rains heavy.

My wife and I bought a house back in October of 2019. The carport of this house was remolded into a bedroom, all was fine until we noticed that the carpet along the wall that connects to the driveway becomes wet when it rains heavy to the point where that carpet is soaked. We are currently keeping it at bay with a steady supply of towels and a wet/dry vac. But obviously this is a band-aid for the situation.

Would running sealant along the outside wall help my problem at all or am I looking at a foundation issue as the room sits flat with the driveway.

Let me know if anyone would like me to supply any additional information

Thank you
