Restoring a wood table

I have this Teak Wood table that I really like, however it is weathered and faded for being outside in the sun and rain too long. I would like to preserve it and bring it back to its old glory. Can you show me how can I do this. Do I need to buff it? and what kind of chemical/solution should I use after buffing to preserve the wood and seal it from further deterioration. I have no clue, I have never done woodwork before. I just hope I don't need to use a machine of some sort for I was only intending to buff it by hand if all but possible.
