Review of Halo5 water filtration system vs. Lifesource. Looking to solve hard water problems in Laguna beach, CA.

I already have Reverse Osmosis for drinking water. Looking for whole house water treatment without salt to combat hardwater problems on plumbing. I was recommended Halo 5 whole house water filtration system vs. Lifesource system. Any reviews by consumers ?

The biggest difference between these two systems are this:

Lifesource products like the Lifesource Elite are salt free systems that DO NOT remove calcium or magnesium from the water. It only contains activated carbon that kills chlorine, chloramines and VOC's. It does nothing for hard water. Also the Lifesource systems only use one stage of carbon and do not have levels of media filtration as does the Halo. Its important to have more than one stage of media to target different chemicals in the water injected my local municipalities such as trihalomethalenes and Haloaceatic Acids

Halo 5 is a more superior product in that it has 5 levels of treatment including a gravel base inside the tank for even dispersement of water after filtration. The Halo 5 also has the 5th stage ION treatment which actually encapsulates the calcium and magnesium in the water and leaves it in a suspended state for up to 36 hours after treatment to create a barrier between the water and metal or hard surfaces like your water fixtures or water heater. The Halo ION also descales piping in your home as well as the water heater. So it is acutally reversing the damage already done by dissolved hard water which forms green and yellow scale

Warranty: Halo 5 has a lifetime tank warranty vs 10 years with Lifesource

Halo 5 has a 5 year digital head warranty vs 90 days with Lifesource

Halo 5 has a 25 year warranty on the Halo ION

Halo 5 is completely superior to pretty much any other system on the market

Hope this helps
