Should I be annoyed that the electrician used half a roll of paper towels, left footprints all over my floor and ate my Christmas goodies?

In a word, YES! He should have been prepared but us contractors of all types sometimes run out of towels or trash bags in our trucks. In that case he should have asked to use yours. The footprints are inexcusable. I'd send him the bill for having the floors professionally cleaned. Did you offer the Christmas goodies? It may have been a misunderstanding if so. If not there's little you can do now but submit a report to Angie's List. It's free to do even if you are not a member. You can also send a copy of the bill for cleaning to the BBB and they will help mediate the situation to get you repaid.

One thing I've learned is to check my feet, especially when there are dogs. I'd think others would have learned the same.
