Should I install floating laminate floor before or after cabinet installation?

I am remodeling my kitchen which includes installing floating laminate wooden floor and install new kitchen cabinet. Question is what should I do first. I heard people saying install floor first will make the floor not floating anymore due to the heavy cabinet on top. But other people are also saying floor should be ready before cabinet. I am wondering what is is right order?

Unless you are using solid wood floors, do not run them under your cabinets. I've never heard that argument for laminate, and I would never do it myself.

The argument holds for solid wood floors though. Cons: it's much more expensive to use nice flooring as opposed to cheap(er) plywood under the cabinets and replacing flooring is much easier when it is not. Pro: when using solid wood flooring underneath, if you were in the future want to replace the cabinets with a different layout, you can sand the floors and refinish - otherwise you're stuck replacing the flooring too.
