Subfloor around toilet drain pipe smells like mold

The concrete subfloor around toilet drain smells like mold. There is no toilet or flooring. The toilet was was not level so it most likely was leaking. I removed toilet and flange, There was mold present and treated. Self leveler was applied and later red guard and tile. Within an hr the smell of mold was so strong I removed all tile and scraper red guard off. That was almost a yr ago. I have been smelling mold faintly and we’re getting ready to tile I thought I’d investigate. Started chiseling out self level around drain and the smell is so strong now. I have treated it with commercial grade products and it’s still there just as strong. I’ve chiseled floor 1.5” deep. 2 yrs ago when tile was originally removed a termite treatment hole was discoed a foot away from drain pipe that previous owners hid. I need advice
