Question DetailsAsked on 2/6/2016

Surgical Pharmaceutical Supplies - cushions for a chair for the elderly.

This is for a 90 year old man, who puts his pillow on his chair to sit on, this is not good. I want to get him something else that's clean and serves the same purpose.

May find one at a Salvation Army or such - also box stores and WalMart and such have couch cushions and throw pillows that might work. Furniture store might have one from a defective or clearance chair they are throwing away.

Could just dedicate that pillow to that use - maybe put in a bright pillow case so it is clearly identifiable as the chair cushion, and just get a new bed pillow.

Box stores also sell throw pillows and couch end cushions that might work.

IF needed because of medical condition, there are specially made foam cushions for this - both solid and with a cutout so only the thighs and bottom touch, which you can put in a pillow case and use for that. In pharmacy or invalid supplies department of most box stores, also pharmacies and medical supply stores.
