Question DetailsAsked on 1/21/2016

The painter I hired tried to up-sell me for the job. We decided it would be better to part company. I need a refund

I bought the $299 one room paint with labor and supplies today, 1/21/15. George at Superior Painting Service said he could do the job tomorrow. He asked for pictures of the room and the paint color. I provided all. (At this point, we communicated by text only) He then said he would need to charge me an additional $150 for a hallway, which is not a hall, but part of the room with closets on one side, which does not need painting. Once I explained this to him and provided the room dimensions, he still had concerns that it would take more than 2 gallons of paint and want me to agree to pay him an additional $100 for a third gallon. I told him I wanted the program I purchased. The room is: 14x12, with an additional 9' wall. I feel he tried to get more money than the job listed on the site from the beginning. There were no dimensions listed or limit of two gallons of paint, which is what he told me as this played out. Please refund my money or put it towards another painter. Thank you
