Question DetailsAsked on 12/12/2019

There is a gas smell coming from our floor vents. We just started using the heating system of our new (Sept) HVAC

We got a new Goodman HVAC installed in September. All was well until the weather turned cold. Since we started heating the house there is an intermittent gas smell coming from our floor vents. And our carbon monoxide detector started beeping. We turned off the heat. Called the company. They looked for leaks around the unit but said they found nothing. Should I ask them to look and see if maybe there is a defect in the heat conductor? Or an air leak in the return airstream? I don't want to be a pest but this seems like something to be taken seriously.
