Unidentifiable pungent smell in one area of apartment

Additional Background
Help. I live in a 3 story apartment building on the top floor and I am disturbed by a strange smell that seems to be coming from the master bathroom and seeping into the master bedroom. The smell is a thick mildew, moldy smell with a tinge of sewage. It is strongest in the master bath and seems to leak into the master bed. Also the master bath with the odor shares a wall with the 2nd bedroom. If I am in the 2nd bedroom and put my nose up to the shared wall I can smell the odor. I also think I smell it very faintly when the heat kicks or if I leave the bedroom door open but never as strong as in the master bathroom. Isn’t it strange that I can smell it on the shared wall of the master bath and 2nd bedroom? I have had my property manager and her son come out and their cheap arses of course “can’t smell it”. To me it is so pungent a whif makes you search for fresh air. What could it be? That bathroom is kept clean by me.
