Question DetailsAsked on 10/20/2015

What do I do if the contractor my insurance recommended made mistakes on the job and isn't willing to fix it?

My hardwood floor had been damaged by water and my insurance recommended contractors to get the job done. After several weeks the contractors fixed the hardwood floor but left gaps they hid behind the refrigerator. Overall, it was a poor quality finish but when I contacted the contractor owner he was rude and refused to talk to me about redoing the job. What are the next steps I should take as I would like the job to be done well.

Thank you for your advice!
