Question DetailsAsked on 1/29/2016

What should I pay to replace/install an 80 percent eff. Gas forced air furnace 125K BTU? upgrade to 95%?

Cracked heat exchanger in old unit. Replace with Trane XR80 or Trane XB90, price estimates please.

They are trying to talk me into replacing a/c as package deal. Telling me that A/C could fail and leak water and destroy new gas forced air system. Am I better off taking the risk? They are quoting me about $3800 for new furnace and installation $4100 if I go with 90%.

To replace both the quote is $6790/$7090
