What is the approximate cost of making a concrete 4 steps about 36" wide from garage to back door?

there would be a small 24" x 36" landing.

24x36 landing is sub-code - has to be at least 36" square if stairs are 3 feet wide, and that is presuming the open door does not intrude into that space (so opens inwards). Otherwise, depending on local code provisions, "depth" of landing would have to be from 24 to 36" BEYOND the door swing arc - so if 36" door swinging outwards potentially as much as 5-6 feet deep.


Assuming minimal foundation prep needed (decent ground conditions) probably in the $500-750 range complete. Be sure they put a mastic sealant along the foundation contact so dirt and debris can't get down in there to cause prying of the stairs away from the wall over time. Regular caulk does NOT cut it - should be peel-and-stick mastic waterstop or mastic caulk.
