What is the average cost to replace the HVAC system?

Our evaporator coil, which is resting on top of the furnace, is leaking. The furnace is rusted and is 14 years old. A/C company recommends replacing the evaporator coil, furnace and condenser.

Good advce ,in my opinion. Costs vary greatly around the country, metro areas are much higher ,as their overhead and wages are much higher.


System size makes a big difference, smaller much less then larger.



Higher effieciency system cost much more then the minimum ones.


All that said, here in suburban Florida, $4,000 to $11,000
