What's the average price per square for roof replacement in NW Georgia?

Also the average surcharge per square for steep pitch and 3 story home.

This is a common question - here is a previous similar question and answers -

The surcharges can vary widely - I have gotten bids for everything from $10/square to $50/square additional if steeper than 6:12 pitch, and from $10/square to $75/square additional for 3 story roofs. The higher surcharges usually apply to difficult to apply conditions - lots of flashing or sheathing replacement to do, and for any type of tile or slate. I would say the average surcharges for standard shingle roof might look like this:

1) 4:12 pitch or lower - no surcharge - standard condition

2) 5:12 to 6:12 or 7:12 - $20/square surcharge (requires planking or safety lines)

3) 8:12 to 12:12 (requires work planking) - $30/square surcharge

4) 3 story height - for all roofing that height - $25/square surcharge
