Question DetailsAsked on 1/30/2015

What if a contractor / handy man from your list does not respond to phone calls? Unresponsive, do you care?

We tried calling this handy man at phone number listed (several times) and left voice mail messages without any success. Finally we posted a message for him on your site and had him come out to estimate job. He said he would give a quote but it apparently got misplaced on his desk and took another message to get it. It was double the price we ended up getting another of your listed handyman contractors to do the work for. My question is - how or where do you record this type of review - if at all?

Hi, this is Meranda with Angie's List.

You can submit a review about your experience with this handyman as you would for another company, but you can flag it as "work not completed" and it will show up that way in the system and to other members. These reviews about their communication, responsiveness and their estimated prices can be helpful clues to other members when considering the professionalism of a service provider and whether to engage them for an upcoming job.
